The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) provides essential support to clients with daily living activities, promoting their comfort, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Support clients with mobility and transfers, including helping them move safely from bed to wheelchair.
  • Prepare and serve meals, adhering to any dietary requirements.
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in activities to promote emotional well-being.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up, doing laundry, and maintaining a clean living environment.
  • Monitor clients' physical and emotional condition, reporting any significant changes to a supervisor or healthcare provider.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines and follow care plans provided by supervisors.

Preferred Skills
