Responsibilities

- Deliver meal trays to patients or residents, ensuring timely service and a positive dining experience.
- Collect used dishes and trays, maintaining cleanliness in food service areas.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring proper sanitation standards are met.
- Restock food items and supplies as needed to maintain meal service readiness.
- Follow specific dietary restrictions and food safety guidelines to support patient health.
- Communicate with dietary and healthcare staff regarding any special dietary needs or restrictions.
Skills and Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of food preparation, portioning, and food safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow dietary guidelines accurately.
- Good communication skills for interacting with patients, residents, and healthcare staff.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift trays or supplies throughout shifts.
