The Host is responsible for creating a welcoming and organized experience for guests, managing reservations and seating to ensure smooth service flow in the dining area. This role requires excellent communication and customer service skills to enhance guest satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements based on reservation and table availability.
  • Handle reservations, manage walk-ins, and maintain a waitlist when necessary.
  • Communicate accurate wait times to guests and keep them informed on seating status.
  • Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to maintain efficient table turnover and service.
  • Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide guests with information about the restaurant and menu.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the entrance, host stand, and waiting areas.
  • Assist with special accommodations or guest requests to ensure a positive dining experience.

  • Basic knowledge of reservation systems and dining room layouts.
